Thomas H. Yorke is a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years of institutional and retail investing experience. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification holder. An expert in the world of financing, fixed income, and portfolio diversification, Mr. Yorke has made a commitment to serve his clients by helping them grow and protect their wealth.
Mr. Yorke began his career in bulk commodities transportation with a hands-on role supervising a small fleet of international cargo vessels. In 1986 he moved his career to Wall Street and joined EF Hutton’s Fixed Income marketing department and worked with account executives and their clients to solve various financial problems. Later, at Lehman Brothers, Yorke served as vice president in the central funding unit, trading a mortgage financing and interest rate swaps book totaling more than $25 billion notional.
At Refco Securities Mr. Yorke was the Co-Head and key architect of a highly successful niche business, which handled the trading, sales, and financing of multiple asset classes. In his professional career, he has handled equities, fixed income, currencies, OTC options, commodities, and structured products.
Mr. Yorke, his wife, and their three grown daughters are lifelong Monmouth County residents and now live in Atlantic Highlands, N.J. Mr. Yorke served as a past Chairman for many charity Golf tournaments at Clean Ocean Action and Family and Children’s Services, where he helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for both causes. He spent nine years coaching in the Rumson-Fair Haven girls’ Lacrosse program and the summers travelling the east coast to watch his daughters Elite Teams play from the sidelines. He is a member of the Rumson Country Club, the Sea Bright Beach Club, and a lifelong congregant of Saint Georges by the River.
